IBUM’s position with respect to this controversial certification is that education is paramount for the safety of the industry overall. We remain an industry leader and we are pleased to be the first of all certification agencies to educate Chiropractors / Functional Medicine Providers in the safer use of hyperbarics to help individuals heal. This certification is not to interfere with or usurp state or federal laws with regard to hyperbaric treatment or prescribing oxygen. Its purpose is education.
