Chief Researcher

Joseph Dituri, Ph.D., DMT, CDR - US Navy (ret

Dr. Dituri is a retired Navy Diving Saturation Officer with 28 years of service to this great country.

He retired in 2013 and went back to school to earn a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Florida; that allows him to perform research on hyperbaric medicine and diving related maladies.

He sits on the ABS committee for building Undersea Vehicles and Hyperbaric Systems and is the author of numerous textbooks and peer-reviewed research articles. He’s also a highly requested speaker and lectures regularly throughout the world. He’s an Instructor through the International Board of Undersea Medicine.

Medical Director

Farhan N. Siddiqi, MD

Dr. Siddiqi is a board-certified spine surgeon and is fellowship-trained in both endoscopic spinal surgery and reconstructive spinal surgery.

Dr. Siddiqi holds an MS in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester and received his Medical Degree from Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Siddiqi completed his internship and residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and is a member of the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Before co-founding the Trinity Spine Center in 2006, Dr. Siddiqi completed a fellowship in Endoscopic Spine Surgery at the Desert Institute for Spine Care (DISC) in Phoenix, AZ. He continues to be involved in many FDA studies and has authored and co-authored many research papers. Dr. Siddiqi is also an Assistant Professor at USF Medical School.

Intern Program

Our center has a substantial internship program where you can learn to be a professional in the hyperbaric industry.

We are part of the DoD SkillBridge program as well, where we work to transition our proud military men and women from military careers to gain experience in hyperbaric medicine.

Your six-month internship will gain you every bit of hyperbaric experience to facilitate running a center or even opening your own facility.
